  • Catherine BaderCatherine is the Executive Director of SET Family Medical Clinic and HealthSET at Centura Health. Catherine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Yale University, and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Colorado. She has black belt in Six Sigma, and training in project management and performance measurement process (PuMP). Catherine has been at Centura Health for three years, most recently as a manager on the community health team leading the Community Health Needs Assessment process for Centura Health’s 17 hospitals. Catherine has also served as a project manager for various community health projects including chronic care management programming, advanced care planning, community benefit reporting, and global health initiatives. Before coming to Centura Health, Catherine worked at the Community Epidemiology Program Evaluation Group (CEPEGP) at the University of Colorado, and on a nutrition environment project at Boulder County Public Health.

    Barbara MorrisDr. Barbara Morris is the Medical Director for SET and HealthSET programs for Centura Health. These programs serve Medicaid clients as well as low income seniors. Her clinical practice is at Golden Neighborhood Health Center where she cares for older adults. Dr. Morris is a family physician with advanced certification in geriatrics. She has extensive experience in geriatrics, primary care, Medicare, and home health services. She works with her patients to help achieve their health care goals especially as they relate to the care of chronic illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease.

    Dr. Morris served as a commissioner for Serve Colorado from 2010 to 2016, is an Emeritus member of the Board of Directors for The Family Tree, and serves as the volunteer medical director for SafeClinic at Women in Crisis. In addition, she serves as a volunteer team leader for Global Volunteers, serving with teams both in the US and internationally.

    Katey BurdickKatey has over 15 years of experience in the business and marketing field. She joined the SET staff in 2008 as the Development Coordinator assisting with SET’s fundraising efforts. She then became Programs Coordinator and also took on the volunteer management role. Katey truly enjoys working for non-profits and making a positive difference in people’s lives each day each day. Before working for SET, as a single mother, Katey and her daughter found themselves without insurance for a period of time and were actually patients at SET. It is personal experiences, like this one, that allow her to relate to our patients and express true compassion and empathy.
    Jason Jones

    Jason is the homeless clinic/finance coordinator for SET. He started as a volunteer doing intake at the homeless clinic in September of 2011. In November 2011 he was hired on part time as the homeless clinic coordinator. His previous experience in retail management at Starbucks and operations management in an electronics refurbishing company helped him to secure a full time position helping the clinic with finance and data management. Jason enjoys working with the homeless population and helping them overcome the many challenges they face.

    Valarie Ames

    Valarie is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program ( SNAP) Coordinator for SET. She collaborates with other community organizations to provide SNAP outreach, application assistance, and community resources to our patients and members in the community. Valarie has been with Centura since September, 2013, where she started as a volunteer in the Dorcy Cancer Center Library and wig salon at St. Mary Corwin. Valarie started with SET in May, 2016. She has an associate’s degree in occupational studies, and prior to her experiences at Centura she worked in long term care and rehabilitation as a nurse assistant.

    Dan Vaught

    Daniel Vaught earned his NP at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. He is Board Certified in Family Practice from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He was previously employed with the Colorado Springs Fire Department in the Community Health Division. He has been a Paramedic and EMS Instructor. He enjoys the challenges of working with the disadvantaged and providing care to all ages. He enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

    Jesus Antonio Dorado Martinez

    Jesus graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in 2015 as a Registered Medical Assistant. He started working at SET Family Medical Clinics in 2016, with an interest in helping low-income populations. He was attracted by the services offered by the clinic, and the strong volunteer program. Jesus previously worked at an organization that provided services to low-income families, and his experience there helped him continue providing health care to the populations we serve. He particularly enjoys working with our Spanish speaking patients. In his free time Jesus enjoys volunteering at his community church. He plans to continue his education and eventually become a registered nurse.

    Christine De La TorreChristine graduated from Everett College in 2009 as a Registered Medical Assistant. She is the mother to four children, and began her career as an MA in an allergy, asthma, and immunology. Christine has also worked in pediatric and women’s health practices. Christine has additional coursework in alcohol and drug education. She has been in Colorado Springs for 14 years.
    Sheila Fountain

    Sheila has worked in the healthcare industry for four years. Before that she had extensive experience in customer service. Sheila recently joined the SET team as our front desk MA. She joined the healthcare industry to be able to make an impact in the lives of others. In her free time Sheila loves to read, go to the gym, play video games, and spend time with her family.

    Yesenia Ruiloba

    Yesenia received her Medical Assistant Certification from Vista College in Las Cruces, NM in 2013. She began her career at Rio Grande Medical Group as a Pediatric MA, and began working at SET Family Medical Clinics in 2015. Yesenia is passionate about helping low income populations. In her free time she enjoys volunteering, as she previously volunteered at the soup kitchen in her hometown. She is able to help and provide services for our Spanish speaking patients.
