COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE RE-ENTRY PROGRAM FOR EX-OFFENDERS(CHRP): Almost 100 ex-offenders per month are released into El Paso County. They leave prison with only $100 and a limited supply of medications. Many are without family, healthcare, social support, or financial resources. This programs goal it help ex-offenders to successfully reintegrate into our community and avoid returning to prison. Holistic Health means giving equal attention to the mind, body and spirit dimensions of a person’s life. The goal of the Spiritual Companioning Program is to provide a forum in which the senior population served by SET can give due attention to the vital dimension of their spiritual development in their overall effort to remain healthly. The classes are open to the entire community. The classes are provided to help educate people about the diseases. The classes also gives people the information and tools to help manage their diseases. It is stocked with resources to educate patients on many topics and to help prevent various diseases and medical conditions.
