Senior Well Being Clinics Provide a monthly physical wellness check for low-income seniors. Clients have their weight and blood pressure monitored, periodic glucose testing and a nurse health assessment. They also have an opportunity for consultation with a pharmacist, dietitian and/or social worker.
Mini-Gatherings The Mini-Gatherings are social and educational programs for sneiors. They provide an opportunity for the sneiors to address emotional/psychological/spiritual topics as well as give each other support in the aging process. Companioning Program The purpose of this program is to couple a senior client with a volunteer who has previously been trained in spiritual direction. Together they nurture their spiritual beliefs. This one-on-one monthly visit provides an avenue for the senior to relate to life with a spiritual focus, on an important component in living life holistically.
Senior Wellness Program This program holds a conference for teams of senior citizens along the Front Range and the Plains. Each team then designs a “wellness project” to take back to its own community to help further the wellness concept.
